Jenny Frison
April 22nd, 2010Jenny Frison dot com. Just listened to a podcast with her over at Sidebarnation dot com. Still not sure how I feel about those guys, but whatever.
Oh, but they also mentioned the Visual Artist Podcast Network, which I’d never heard of before, but which is now going in my bookmarks. That’s pretty awesome. And I’ve played all my music so often I’m wearing holes in the mp3s. I’m finally starting to get the point of Jazz. Need to listen to something other than 3 guitar chords for a while.

April 9th, 2010Bauer, German-owned publisher of Brit music magazines Kerrang!, Mojo, Q and others, proposes new contracts to: strip freelance writers and photographers of copyright; indemnify Bauer against any potential legal action arising from said work; and seek IP rights from subjects on behalf of the publisher(!). Because, once again, no one thinks writers actually work for a living.
That’s the sort of contract I’d write after sudden and severe head trauma.
